Geroc Was the Throne of Atalzerus

A copy of a letter to the colleagues of Rinder Bellersby

My dear and esteemed friends,

There is much speculation about the mysterious and awe-inspiring ruins of Geroc in the Great Desert of Falorum. Many-a-traveler has brought tales back home of these immense stone cogs and monuments, half-buried in sand and age.

There are those who would deny the evident truth, though. They say there is not evidence. I say, what more evidence is needed? Divine Atalzerus, our ancient Creator and Guardian, Wise but now sadly Dead, was the creator of Geroc. In the time the gods walked the earth, he lived there. Perhaps it was the birthplace of our people! I would bet on it!

We know that Kalesar held court in the north, in the mountains of Delver, and that Aeth and Finlyr frolicked the Riverlands. Even Divine Taleina, who, like Atalzerus, is Dead, had a home among the elves in Ilithir. Why, then, could Atalzerus not have a home? Indeed, he must have had one, and indeed, it must have been Geroc!
